To have a life at all, it should be obvious we need to survive, which means at absolute bare minimum to have air, water, and food, preferably of high quality. And we want to leave that survival ability to future generations. But beyond that we want shelter, mobility - and beauty. So sustainability has to be about keeping the things we need and lover available for our children and grandchildren and many generations beyond.
