I have lived in Parkwest Section 2, a part of the Westbury subdivision for 19 years. The trains have been blasting their horns in the middle of the night, keeping residents who can't afford double-thick window panes awake at night and it has gone on for about 11 years. I have complained to no resolution. I have spent hours of restless nights, hundreds of hours with a pillow over my ears so I could drown out the train blasts. I have a sleep disorder thanks to your trains.
So what has the Westbury Association accomplished? Nothing but promises for resolution.
I am telling you--- this is NOT good enough. Fancy promises for resolving this in maybe one or two years>? Good Lord, this has been 12 years. What kind of heartless are you in city government? YOU come over here and live with me and see how long it would be before you go crazy trying to sleep with this INSANELY LOUD,hooooooooooooooooooooooonk TRAIN NOISE.
